On December 16, 2022 the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia fully adopted the legislative package on establishing the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) in the second reading. On the basis of the Migration Service of Armenia and the Passport and Visa Department of the Police, the Migration and Citizenship Service (MSS) has been established within the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Currently, two entities are in the transitional phase of restructuring. Provision of public services to the RA citizens and foreigners continues without any changes. This website remains available as the content of the website contains useful information for the RA citizens and foreigners. The new website of the Migration and Citizenship Service is currently under construction. Adequate public awareness on changes in service delivery as well as functions of the Service will be organized in a timely manner.
